Merry Christmas! After a year hiatus, the Southern Pacific #4449 returned to the rails in Portland, Oregon on the annual Holiday Express train. Running along the Oregon Pacific tracks, the Holiday Express features a variety of vintage railcars, part of the Oregon Rail Heritage Center's fleet.

I managed to head to Portland during a weekend in mid-December 2021. First time seeing the "Daylight" and what a show and sight to see! Definetly would like to see her running on the mainline at track speed, but this will do until that time comes around again, hopefully soon!
