This is a small guide to help people out if they're interested in Haohmaru and would like an idea on how to approach learning him. This guide is mainly for letting you get your "feet wet" with the character. Feel free to message me if you have any questions pertaining to anything.

*Additional Notes
- Haohmaru's playstyle is based around the notion of "strong single strikes", so he's relatively less combo-oriented than other characters
- Be careful that 8A+B is -14 on block despite being a good low crush (under Soul Charge it becomes a Break Attack)
- Haohmaru's 4B+K unblockable attack can recover health
- 22/88B+K is a good thrusting punish after a whiffed vertical attack (follow-up with 8A+B)

Each number represents the corresponding direction. 1 for "Down-Back", 9 for "Up-Forward", 5 for "Neutral" or no input, etc. Quarter-Circle Back = 214, Quarter-Circle Forward = 236, Half-Circle Back = 63214, Half-Circle Forward = 41236, etc.

For Input commands:

A = Horizontal Attack
B = Vertical Attack
K = Kick
G = Guard Button
6G = Guard Impact
A+G = First Throw
4A+G = Second Throw
6B+G = Resist Impact
B+G = Reversal Edge
A+B+K = Critical Edge
236A+B+K = Soul Attack

W!! = Second Wall Splat
GB! = Guard Burst
CE = Critical Edge
( ) = Held Input
: = Just Frame Input
