Party Jazz's tribute to the music of The Crusaders - Soul Shadows - is a six piece band dedicated to playing the music of jazz funk pioneers The Crusaders whose soulful instrumentals became hugely popular in the early 70’s (with their biggest hit “Street Life” coming at the end of that decade). Sadly two of the founder members of the band Wayne Henderson and Joe Sample passed away in 2014 but their timeless music lives on in this superb tribute.
The band features classic cuts such as Keep On That Same Old Feeling, Southern Comfort, Put It Where You Want It and, of course, Street Life.
