I really like this camera and I shot both stills and video with it. The AI empowered AF system is rock steady and never seems to miss. The full frame sensor is great, and allows me to use APS-C/Super 35 lenses and still retain 4K. When shooting video, I also love the fact that I can zoom in and out from the camera (wide-tele) with the Sony Power Zoom lenses I have. The heavy duty nature of the camera's construction is better than any of the A7/A9/A1 cameras as the FX series are ready for work, like a Ford F350 diesel. I shot this one for a week and borrowed it from Sony but after my experience, I ordered one for myself. That the FX2 is full frame, has a 33mp sensor, can use Super 35 lenses in 4K, and is $1400 less than the FX3 will line some people up to buy one. If you shoot the NFL every week you need 4K120P with no crop. But for the rest of us that shoot interviews, indy films, and in church, this could be an interesting choice. Last, for those of us true hybrid shooters that cover weddings and mini-docs, and shoot interviews, FX2 is the right price!
