Somebody recently asked me what this thing is to the left of all of our equipment. It’s an early 1990s Sony Betacam SP playback deck. This is my sons which we picked up locally of all things.
This does not record, but it has every bell and whistle you can think of. Commercial grade. Very very full featured where you can to start stop and all sorts of effects during playback. And it’s extremely precise down to the video frame.
