Since stage editing for Frontiers has reached a decent-ish stage in recent months I've been spending the past couple weeks working on-and-off on a 2D cyberspace stage for it. It's basically meant to be a replacement for 2-1 that's a new layout instead of being "Gens Green Hill again", with wall-jumping and balloons being kind of the central design elements of it.
I haven't fully decided if I'm going to take it past the blockout stage since Frontiers 2D is surprisingly janky to work with compared to previous games, but I figure it's at least in a state worth showing off. Plus, if it does end up getting dropped there will probably still be an as-is release like some of my old Gens layouts since its already in a solidly playable state.
