This is "Sonic Boom" for the Amstrad CPC released in 1990 by Activision.
It is a conversion from Sega's 1987 coin-op with the same title.
It's a simple grab and play shoot 'em up that kept busy for some time back in the days.
Nice colorful graphics, smooth vertical scrolling and responsive controls make it very playable.
Sound effects simply do their job and the tune in the menu screen is nothing that CPC's sound chip can feel proud of.
Having tried C64 version of the game i believe that CPC's version is much more playable.
