The adventure begins anew.
It's been an entire decade since the brooding protector of Gotham City, the Batman, mysteriously vanished, along with his true self, billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne. No one in the city - or the world - would expect one particular fast-footed hero to take the mantle and put on the cowl. After training Tails as the Boy Wonder himself, Robin, and inspiring his other friends to take on the roles of Batman's closest allies (and rivals), Sonic is baffled by a brown amorphous creature confronting the Gotham City police one rainy night. A couple days later, Batman and Robin learn that Dr. Eggman, now driven more insane than ever and having fully embraced his identity as Batman's greatest nemesis, the Joker, has formed a plan with the creature - an ancient god that has disguised himself as Clayface, the hulking alter-ego of former Gotham City actor Basil Karlo - to collect the seven Chaos Emeralds so that this god, Chaos, can annihilate the city to make room for a metropolis controlled by the mad doctor.
As the story continues, each playable character crosses paths as they all hope to achieve their own goals in the midst of Batman and Robin's race to collect the emeralds before time runs out. With the worlds of Sonic Adventure and DC Comics combined, new secrets and surprises are sure to await you. Enjoy the night while you can.
