Sonic Adventure and, later, a GameCube release called Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut, completed Sonic's transition into the 3D era in 1998 in Japan, 1999 worldwide, and 2003 with new, modernized assets. You might know a few of the game's interesting tidbits, but what about those that require owning specific versions, or those that were either hidden in the game's file system or removed entirely? The first episode of my updated Easter Eggs series will focus on the hidden details, file secrets, and beta content of one of the most beloved, innovative, and influential 3D Sonic games of all time - and the title that introduced me to the world of video games.
