I've had a lot of time to prepare for this knowing it was coming. My last cover of it was really out there as far as the style and changes made and much like I have with previous re-covers, I opted this time to aim for close to the original and only enhance things that I felt wouldn't comprimise the original feel. I watched so much content in prep for this including Jun's own playthrough of the song to make sure I was much closer this time around to the actual song's riffs. Overall it was really nice to work with less instrument tracks than I normally do so I could really let everything shine and take up as much headroom as possible.

I've been also very hard at work rearranging some of my studio in hopes to keep my videos free of objects in the background from taking focus away from the subject. Opting for studio music videos for all of these has really allowed me to focus in and try and get the best out of the space for these videos.

I'm curious how people will react to the stabilize effect on Caleb. While I really felt like it was jarring, I overall really liked it as opposed to the stationary camera and I felt like it gave the video a much more dynamic and hype feel. I'm sure it'll be a decision not liked by others, but I really felt stoked about it this time around. Davinci Resolve makes things like that much easier to pull off and since I moved to it from Premiere over the past few months, I'm really enjoying learning to elements to introduce to these videos.
