Unused soundtracks are really interesting. For that reason, I had to pause and listen, after I found a few unused tracks from Sonic 3D Blast (Flickies Island) for the Mega Drive / Genesis. While the boss theme was reused in Sonic 4, this unused track, probably meant for bonus stages sounded really interesting to me. After arranging it by ear, I continues to try to "remaster" it and came up with this remix. I added a bunch of instruments to make the main melody more interesting and also added a flute to make it sound more full.
