Lately I invested a lot of time into Bionicle, so I saw it only fitting to make the next upload Bionicle themed. I present you a 16 bit Genesis / Mega Drive remix of "The Chronicler's Company" (Alternatively "The Way to Kini Nui", or "The Matoran Theme") from Templar's Mata Nui Online Game.
I hope, you guys enjoy it and I'm curious if there's gonna be any Bionicle fans in the comment section. ;)
I am still using soundfonts, but I tried to stay within hardware limitation according to my knowledge and capabilities. For this remix specifically, again "The Ultimate Genesis Soundfont" by Cinos Modnar.
The pixelart of Vakama and Takua on the Thumbnail and in the video was made by me. I used the actual display resolution of the Genesis / Mega Drive and used a screenshot of Sonic 3 as a colour reference.
All the 3D assets, shown in this video (The TV, console, controller, box and cartrige) were all made by me from scratch in Blender with the textures using pictures of the originals as a basis.
I used the Sheepit rendering farm for the video renders, since I have a weak GPU.
