Behold. A prototype of Sonic 3 for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive! It's trippy and prone to breaking in the debug mode, which I've used throughout just to get by some bugs. Now, with that said, I couldn't access Mushroom Hill Zone or Sandopolis Zone or the other Sonic & Knuckles zones due to them not enabled and/or being completely broken. I didn't know of what GameGenie codes are used to unlock the rest of the zones, if they're available in this prototype (they are, after looking this up). As for the rest of the game, I broke it entirely to the point of it crashing on me a few times.

Dissect it, use it, do whatever pleases you! I included a little read me file as well. I skipped Sandopolis Zone and both boss themes from Act 1 and 2 since they were the same in the other builds of Sonic 3 and included in the prototypes only, plus I included in Death Egg Zone out of spite. If there's anything that I may have missed here, lemme know!
