More like Sonic Doom to me, since I died… a LOT, and save-stated… a LOT as well. Watch me suffer and save-state abuse this hack, and also RIP my bitrate at Act 3 of Power Plant Zone.
Sonic Boom (not meant to be confused with the show) is a hack of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the Mega Drive by snkenjoi and iojnekns, along with a wide array of talented contributors in the Sonic hacking scene. No, debug mode wasn't used at all during this. I tried, but it crashed the game upon entering the zone, so I had to save state abuse, as you can tell.
Feel happy to download it here, from the Internet Archive!

![Star Fox - Corneria (Sega Genesis Remix) [Version 2]
Star Fox, Sega Genesis style!
TheLegendOfRenegades version is godly but hey! I just got the best idea over here!
What if I took the same MIDI he used and did the same thing TheLegendOfRenegade had done but I did it in my own way without the soundfonts he used with no VOPM, no FL Studio and just OpenMPT, the Ultimate Sega Genesis Soundfont and Sonic 3 & Knuckles sounfont?
Well, this is what you get over here.
This MIDI is sequenced and generated by NoteWorthy Composer.
Made possible with the Ultimate Sega Genesis soundfont and Sonic & Knuckles soundfont on OpenMPT/ModPlug Tracker, version 1.27.10.00.
Some of the sounds have been recorded via the DGen emulator as my playback system and Audacity as the recorder while I paused the CPU of the emulator and let the sound drag on without skipping for a good 40 seconds to a minute or so.
For the bass, I added in Mystic Cave Zones 2-players bass to it albeit at a lower sample rate for fun!
This video was recorded with Bandicam.
Listen to TheLegendOfRenegades version and my version side-by-side and see which ones better for yourself.
I only do this as a fun hobby of mine.
This is just a reupload to the one I uploaded compared to yesterdays upload.
