Wanna know what would a Sonic game sound like if you flipped the notes? Lemme tell you, it changes the experience ENTIRELY! This was done with VGM-to-MIDI, an application for Windows that's made to convert VGM music logs to MIDI files and well, since it screws up the DAC entirely, I had to mute it with OpenMPT and had to record the DAC itself with Audacity from a clean Sonic 3 & Knuckles ROM and applied it to said MIDI. Thus, it results in this. Plus, VGM-to-MIDI screws up the panning, too! I honestly hate VGM to MIDI. Anyway, here's Death Egg Zone with its notes flipped with the original instruments at their original pitches... or at least that's what I attempted to do. Happy (somewhat) late Fourth of July, my fellow quarantiners! Today, I have Sonic 3 & Knuckles (Reversed Frequencies), but now in the right frequencies... somewhat. I had to record the DAC in a different audio recording, though.
Also, I tried out the OpenShot Video Editor today and I like it! Video playback's a bit stuttery thanks to my computer being a total potato, but it works. Also, excuse the typo at the beginning since like I said, it's a test video.
