This is also a submission to The Sound of Speed, an event celebrating the music of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Now through July 31st, any Sonic songs done by the Mario Paint community will be compiled into their own playlist.
This song was a lot of fun to do. From the SFX done with the yoshis and boats, to the echoes for the main melody, to the chill chords, and the strong percussion to anchor the cover, this one was a joy to do. You could say this song... didn't give me Hard Times :P
