This is a submission to the Donkey Kong: Paintbrush Symphony event being run by the Mario Paint community. Any and all Donkey Kong songs covered by members of the Mario Paint community will be added to a dedicated event playlist.
Whew, so, Donkey Kong music. There's a reason I haven't done much of it up until now. Even shorter songs like this are -very- time-consuming, and quite difficult at times. It really goes to show, though, that the composers who have brought the Donkey Kong franchise to life with their compositions really knew what they were doing. In this case, David Wise and his team for the Donkey Kong Country games simply made masterpiece after masterpiece.
This is the overworld map theme for Donkey Kong Country 2, where Diddy and Dixie Kong arrive on Crocodile Isle in their bid to rescue Donkey Kong and put an end to their arch-nemesis K. Rool's schemes.
