This was done for The Sound of Speed, a Mario Paint community event celebrating the music of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. All songs made for The Sound of Speed will have their own playlist for everyone's viewing pleasure.
I've been wanting to do music from Sonic Adventure 2 for a very long time, but have always had difficulties with making song from this game. I feel like I'm finally at a point where I can do justice to this game's amazing soundtrack.
This is probably my favorite Eggman level theme in the game, up there next to Cosmic Wall. In doing this song, I had some challenges to overcome; namely, the volume control and note placement. As a result, the overall volume of the song was really tricky to balance. I do like what I've managed to do here, though. Oh, also, it may be a bit slower than the OST due to a tempo gap; it was either a bit too slow, or way too fast on either side of it.
