My Workshop Dust Collector doesn't suck. But that's a bad thing!!

My dust collector is a 2HP King Canada system. I have it piped through the shop with drop lines to key power tools. But the last while I have noticed it's not collecting the sawdust like it used to.

I checked the main dust collector unit and found the inlet pipe was pretty well clogged with sawdust. So it's time for some much needed maintenance.

In this video I remove the main trunk vacuum line and clean each piece with a brush I make from an old flue brush.

Then I re-assemble it all and do up upgrades on the man vacuum unit.

Have a look and see what you think. Do you think it needed to be cleaned?

Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy the video. Please 'thumbs up' me and leave me some comments. And if you haven't done so already, please consider 'subscribing' to my channel. It sure helps my videos get noticed and my channel grow. I hope you all have a great week.

We'll talk to yas ...
