This updated 13-minute video now includes subtitles for the hearing impaired and added commentary breaking down what City Hall doesn’t want residents to question.
City Hall is packed with six-figure salaries and padded benefits...while they’re once again talking about raising your property taxes. Some council members roll up their sleeves and fight to find solutions, so residents don’t carry the burden.
Others just read from the City’s script, repeating whatever staff and Daniel Biss tell them, using fear tactics like:
“If we don’t raise taxes, you’ll lose the services you love.”
That’s not leadership. That’s manipulation.
We’re still waiting on answers about Public Works, the missing investigation report, and positions created under Biss’s administration that were never approved by Council - all funded by your tax dollars.
