I went solo tent camping for New Years and found wisdom in the natural world which reminded me to unclench and trust the flow of life. This was a beautiful reminder to recieve at the threshold to the New Year, 2026. I felt the wisdom arrive with such clarity— that we don't have to rush to become something new and that resolutions are illusions. I felt how life carries us all along an eternal stream. A stream within which we gather new experiences, hold new dreams, start new projects, meet new people, travel to new places, find love, learn to let go, and so on and so forth. This flow is what shapes us. Change isn't something we control but rather, it is something we must surrender to. It happens to us and through us. Needless to say, these couple of days disconnecting in nature helped me reconnect with things much deeper and my soul felt at home- alone, by the creek as my thoughts flowed freely.
