I took myself on another solo trip. This time, to the Turkish Riviera. I spent a few days in Çirali, resting, day dreaming and making art. These short solo trips have been so restorative and replenishing for my soul whilst living in London. Whenever I need to remember who I am, I go to the sea. In my solitude, I recollect the parts of myself that city life dims. I let my mind drift closer to my dreams and imagination, remembering the natural rhythm of my feminine body. Here, everything seems to flow easier. I become filled with inspiration, letting it all flow through words and colours that I pour onto paper. By the sea, I am alive and I am free. Rising early and walking onto sand and pebbles first thing. Hearing cicadas sing and smelling jasmine drifting through the air. It truly all feels so much simpler here. Documenting my solo journeys fills me with so much joy and I am deeply grateful that I get to share them with you. I hope you can feel some of the peace and stillness that found me in these days.
As always, I am sending you my love.
