Solo completion of Grandmaster Nightfall Heist Battleground: Moon with Xenophage and Contraverse Hold on Void Warlock - Solo Grandmaster - Solo GM - Solo Nightfall - Contraverse Hold - Xenophage - Platinum Rank - Gilded Conqueror - Solo Conqueror - How to Complete Heist Battleground Moon Guide - Void Warlock Vortex Grenade Build - Season of the Wish - Destiny 2 Lightfall.
After a couple of faster and cheesier clears I opted to do one off-meta run, and this time I am using Void Warlock with Contraverse Hold and Xenophage. Xenophage is a cool weapon, does a lot of damage, has infinite range and has good ammo economy. It can clear adds, it can melt champions and it can do decent damage to the boss. Same goes for the one-and-only rocket sidearm - Indebted Kindness. It is complimented by Vortex Grenades that pull everything in one place and weaken them. All of that combined results in a fun and potent build!
Lastly, I have a kinetic hand cannon (Midnight Coup) with shoot to loot and kinetic tremors. Tremors do pick up ammo around bosses and that results to almost never running out of Xenophage and Indebted Kindness ammo.
I decided to use the "Protect Ghost" section cheese. I do not really see much point doing no cheese for this GM as infinite enemies are not fun anyway. You can find a no cheese Strand Hunter completion from a season ago using the link below.
