Solo completion of Grandmaster Nightfall PsiOps Battleground: Cosmodrome on Void Hunter with Polaris Lance and Graviton Forfeit - Solo GM - Solo Nightfall - Gilded Conqueror - Graviton Forfeit - Polaris Lance - Platinum Rank - Void Hunter - Season of the Wish - Destiny 2 Lightfall.
GM catch-up node is here so this week I will be doing all available GMs one by one. For the first clear of the week I am going with the weekly one though - PsiOps BG Cosmodrome. That one is definitely a contender for being the most annoying NF in rotation as it does not seem to be adjusted in terms of infinitely spawning enemies. The starting payload is awkward to complete as enemies just keep coming. Then you are met with enormous amount of Champions in the middle room and before it. And then the Boss itself is a Void Lucent Knight with the dreaded shield throws and suppression grenades. The spawn platform is relatively safe though apart from the Shield Throws that are not hard to hide from.
I decided to go along the path of least resistance so for this run I am using Void Hunter with Graviton Forfeit for infinite invisibility. For my exotic weapon I am using Polaris Lance as it is simply the best solo GM weapon this season in combination with extremely powerful solar artifact perks (Kindling Trigger, Flint Striker, Rays of Precision). Deadfall Super helps with killing groups of enemies even faster.
As for my other weapons, I have a kinetic Sniper Rifle (Supremacy) with Kinetic Tremors, which applies a nice DoT and deals with Barrier Champions through Radiant buff coming from Flint Striker Artifact perk. Last but not the least, I have Apex Predator rocket launcher to burst down bigger targets.
I will post the other remaining GMs in the next few days.
