Solo flawless completion of Master Empire Hunt: The Technocrat on Strand Hunter in Season 23, Season of the Wish - Solo Empire Hunt - Quicksilver Storm - Cyrtarachne's Facade - Strand Hunter - Season of the Wish - Destiny 2 Lightfall.
After doing so many Battlegrounds recently, I decided to get back into some better content and to dive into nostalgia - Master Empire Hunts. Considering Strand was not even released back then, I thought it would be cool to use Strand powers against Stasis-wielding Fallen, and I thoroughly enjoyed doing that.
I am using Strand Hunter with Cyrtarachne's Facade, which is a very well known build at this stage. It enables spamming Grapple grenade to get Woven Mail, generate Tangles while having Woven Mail with Thread of Transmutation fragment, and then destroy those Tangles to create Whirling Maelstroms from Strand Hunter Whirling Maelstrom aspect. I think it's one of the most fun and at the same potent builds in the game.
As for my weapons, I am using arguably the best Strand weapon Quicksilver Storm, brand new Arc Rocket Sidearm (Indebted Kindness) to deal with Barrier Champions, and a Solar LMG (Fixed Odds) to quickly mow down many targets.
I will probably revisit more of the old content on Strand builds, this content is great and it's rather sad that there is not much point in going there again.
