Coast Guard Rescue Swimmers A-School trainees and C-School students push and bodies endlessly to be Always Ready!
As the United States’ premier Rescue Swimmers, they will be called upon in all weather conditions and environments to safeguard and protect lives.
The USCG Rescues approximately 5,000 people annually, with a significant portion of those rescues involving our ASTs.
Preserving future readiness is essential to fulfilling our missions and defending the homeland. Our Rescue Swimmers set the standard for physical readiness, and embody the Coast Guard’s commitment to preparedness.
