Snorkeling Sydney Australia
Snorkeling is one of our favorite things to do! There's nothing like diving in and swimming with thousands of colorful fish and fascinating sea life. On our recent trip to Australia we had the opportunity to snorkel all around Sydney and beyond. It was fall so the water was a bit chilly, but this did not deter us!
Snorkeling Sydney Australia is so easy with so many beaches so near at hand. Most of the footage in this video comes from the beaches in and around Sydney, but some is also from Jervis Bay, which is about 3 hours South of Sydney.
We were lucky to see a wide array of sea creatures including 4 Octopus, Eastern Blue Gropers, many large flatheads, sea urchins the size of small basketballs, and of course large numbers of tropical fish. Emma also saw a stingray, and we both saw a few jellyfish. Of course it is impossible to capture how amazing the wildlife was just with a couple goPros, but we did our best. Maybe someday we'll be able to afford a proper underwater camera and get scuba certified!
Anyway, Snorkeling around Sydney and in Australia was an unforgettable experience. We hope to be back soon to explore more of these beautiful and lush waters.
