Moebius: Empire Rising is a graphic adventure video game developed by Pinkerton Road and Phoenix Online Studios. It was released on Microsoft Windows and OS X on April 15, 2014, with Linux, iOS and Android versions to follow. The game is a spiritual successor to the Gabriel Knight series.
The game tells the story of Malachi Rector, an antiques dealer who travels the world hunting down valuable artefacts. After returning from a trip to Spain hes hired by Amble Dexter, the head of a secretive government agency called FITA, to investigate a series of events and document them in his meticulous way.
The first event is the death of a young woman in Venice, found hanging from a bridge. As Rector investigates her life, he realizes that the beautiful and talented young woman—and the interrupted path of her life—had great hidden significance: Amble Dexter and his associates are playing with the fabric of life in a way Rector never imagined was possible. Even he, Rector himself, is part of a larger pattern. He must figure out who is doing what, and whether their intentions are for good or ill, before he can decide if he will play his pre-scripted role or try to change the outcome. This is a metaphysical thriller à la Dantes Equation and Gabriel Knight.")

Star Ocean: First Departure is an enhanced remake[16] of the original Star Ocean, developed by TOSE.[17][18] The first details of the game were revealed at the Star Ocean Special Stage during the Square Enix Party 2007, alongside those of Star Ocean: The Second Story. Yoshinori Yamagishi, producer of the series, stated that he wants the remakes to feel as though theyre completely new games.[19] The game was released in Japan on December 27, 2007, and was released in North America and Europe on October 21, 2008 and October 24, 2008 respectively; making it the first time that the original Star Ocean was officially released outside of Japan.[1] The English localization was handled by Nanica, Inc., with voice-over production services provided by Epcar Entertainment, Inc. Recordings were made at the Oracle Post studios in Burbank, CA.
First Departure uses a slightly altered version of the engine used for Star Ocean: The Second Story with similar features, including prerendered backgrounds and 3D battle fields. Production I.G provided new artwork and animated cutscenes for the game. New playable characters have been added as well. Ben Jordan: Paranormal Investigator is the main title of a planned series of eight amateur adventure games made by Francisco Grundislav Gonzalez with freeware adventure game engine Adventure Game Studio. To date, there have been seven games released in the series, each game being a separate case investigated by Ben Jordan, the protagonist and player character. Each game features the main title and a subtitle, usually relating to the plot of the case. The series distinguishes itself from other games about paranormal investigation in that many of the paranormal phenomena are taken from real-life legends and folklore.
There were originally nine games planned, but one was dropped because of a weak plot.
