Spud and I were puzzled a bit with this one, but after watching - and listening - to it a few times, I think the explosion was actually a grenade thrown by the invader and he got run over by the tank immediately after that.
Let me know what you think in the comments.
Props to the invader for anticipating where I would go after he used the phone.
