Abstract

Cyber threats are evolving at an unprecedented pace. Traditional attack vectors such as DDoS, access control circumvention, and API exploitation remain critical concerns, but they are now amplified by the weaponization of artificial intelligence. Threat actors are organizing better, attacking harder and faster, and leveraging AI to increase both the depth and breadth of their campaigns. Generative AI enables adversaries to automate reconnaissance, craft highly convincing phishing lures, and dynamically adapt attack strategies in real time, making defenses that were once sufficient increasingly obsolete.

This session examines how AI is transforming the threat landscape and accelerating the complexity of attacks against enterprise networks and critical infrastructure. We will explore real-world examples of AI-enabled compromises, including adaptive DDoS campaigns and API-targeted exploits, and discuss how attackers use machine learning to bypass traditional security controls. Attendees will gain actionable insights into building resilience without sacrificing uptime, including strategies for integrating AI-powered detection, developing adaptive playbooks, and fostering collaborative ecosystems that share intelligence at machine speed.

By the end of this session, participants will understand the dual challenge of defending against traditional threats while preparing for AI-driven escalation and how to align security strategies with business priorities to maintain operational continuity under pressure.
