Hold your Smart Water bottle straight up and down, then tilt it slightly towards the Sun, make small adjustments in that angle until the focal point is tightest and within a 1/2" of the side of the bottle. For me, at this time of the day, at this time of the year, that was about 6" down the bottle.
Yes, you can tilt the bottle away from the Sun and still get a focal point that will ignite punk wood, but it won't be as intensely hot.
