This tape came free with an issue of N64 Pro, a Nintendo 64 magazine from the UK, although Im not sure which one. It seems the tape was made in (late) 1998 and covered games due to be released in 1999. Infogrames United Kingdom have put their name all over it. Id imagine they played a large part in putting the tape together, perhapes sponsoring it. The tape lasts about 13 minuites.
Youll probably notice that many games featured on the video arent available on the Nintendo 64, which is a bit strange. Even the Playstation, the Nintendo 64s competitor gets some coverage. Youll also probably notice that several clips are repeated. It seems this tape wasnt very well put together.
The structure of the tape goes something like this:
- Opening/introduction
- Warner Bros. section
- System Crash section
- Wargasm section - the box says previously top secret N64 version of Wargasm
- Credits
Part 1 of this video begins with a 20 secondish slide show showing the VHS itself and its cover. It then goes on to show the Opening and Warner Bros. section.
