Here, I've taken an (NTSC) Ocarina of Time hack (Petrie's Challenge) and converted it to PAL using PALadin, then compared it to both the original NTSC version of the hack, and to vanilla PAL Ocarina of Time.
Why this conversion test? Well, I'm used to playing the Zelda games at the slower PAL speed. It feels weird when I play Zelda hacks based on the US version, as they play more quickly than I'm used to - the change in speed is distracting. My hope is to be able to convert Ocarina of Times hacks (and maybe hacks of other games too) to play at the slower PAL speeds I'm more used to, with hopefully minimal drawbacks.
The main purpose of this video is to compare the sound, specifically the synchronization of the music in the Hyrule field opening scene. It seems to be a more or less perfect match, in that respect, to the PAL original, which is awesome!
You can find more info about PALadin here:

![[Old] N64 Pro: New Years Revolution promotional Tape (Part 2 of 2)
Update:
You can see the full video in not-quite-as-bad quality here: https://youtu.be/PC_7f72dNmo
Original Description:
Part 2 of 2
This tape came free with an issue of N64 Pro, a Nintendo 64 magazine from the UK, although Im not sure which one. It seems the tape was made in (late) 1998 and covered games due to be released in 1999. Infogrames United Kingdom have put their name all over it. Id imagine they played a large part in putting the tape together, perhapes sponsoring it. The tape lasts about 13 minuites.
Youll probably notice that many games featured on the video arent available on the Nintendo 64, which is a bit strange. Even the Playstation, the Nintendo 64s competitor gets some coverage. Youll also probably notice that several clips are repeated. It seems this tape wasnt very well put together.
The structure of the tape goes something like this:
- Opening/introduction
- Warner Bros. section
- System Crash section
- Wargasm section - the box says previously top secret N64 version of Wargasm
- Credits
Part 1 of this video begins with a 20 secondish slide show showing the VHS itself and its cover. It then goes on to show the Opening and Warner Bros. section.
Part 2 of this video shows the rest of the tape: the System Crash section, the Wargasm section and the credits. [Old] N64 Pro: New Years Revolution promotional Tape (Part 2 of 2)](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/iMZo4Q9vERk/mqdefault.jpg)
