It’s hard to believe we are already up to the season of Autumn for our Roxy’s Journal of Stitchery Field Notes slow stitching project and onto the second prompt, inspired by and paying tribute to Edith Holden. #Roxysjournalofstitchery

The prompt for this two weeks is mossy wood or forest. In this video I share lots of ideas for how you can add texture and dimension to your slow stitching projects using fibres and trims.

I also share a tutorial for how to make fabric slow stitch mushrooms or fungi. A very easy slow stitching project that is great for using scraps of fabric and yo-yos of Suffolk puffs. These fabric mushrooms would even make a great pin cushion!
