Join me as I show you how you can transform a vintage or old half apron into a beautiful slow stitch pouch you can use for keeping your slow stitching projects or other treasures.

Old or vintage aprons are often made out of beautiful fabrics and so this is a great way to give the aprons new life and create a useful and easy slow stitch project at the same time.

Best of all, you’ll be keeping the vintage apron while with no cutting required so it’s also preserving textile history.

I came up with this design myself after collecting quite a pile of beautiful vintage aprons and wondering what I could do with them.

It was also a great opportunity to use some beautiful buttons from a vintage bag of buttons I received in the post.

I hope you enjoy this fun and easy slow stitching project and that it will inspire you to use an apron you already have or to find an old one at an op shop or thrift or charity store.
