Sharing this slow stitching square I created for the slow stitch quilt that has now been gifted to @k3n.clothtales A wonderful community project where people around the world have stitched squares and sent them to Kas@lovecraftwithkas who has stitched them into a beautiful slow stitch quilt for K3n. #slowstitching

Thank you so very much Kas for all your work and for creating this beautiful gift for Kathryn. Please note I filmed and uploaded this video 9 months ago when I created the square. Kas has changed their first name during this time so the first name I have used for them in the video is no longer correct. Their first name is Kas. You are amazing Kas!

My slow stitch square features May Gibbs gumnut babies and a bee. I wanted to create something that had an Australia influence and I remember K3n commented on an earlier project where I was working with similar fabric to make a slow stitch hexagon fabric vessel.
