I can’t believe we are almost finishing the season of Autumn for our Roxy’s Journal of Stitchery Field Notes slow stitching project, inspired by and paying tribute to Edith Holden. #Roxysjournalofstitchery #slowstitching #slowstitch

The prompt for this two weeks is Autumn bird or birds. I love any slow stitching prompt using birds and flowers and this was the perfect opportunity to use a treasured piece of collage fabric and to play with my new-to-me second-hand beads to created a jewelled beaded bird. I’m actually really thrilled with how this came out 🤗
