This was a Thrifty Thursday video I made last week while in Alpine Victoria which is such a beautiful and peaceful part of the world.

I could have never anticipated the events of this week in Porepunkah and send my thoughts out to the Emergency Services, families and communities impacted by the senseless shooting. I honour those who serve on behalf of the community and hold all those continuing to serve in protection of the community in my thoughts.

We returned from Bright last weekend before the events unfolded. A week ago I was walking along the river at Porepunkah with Travers enjoying the winter sun, the fresh crisp air and the calm of a flowing river. It is such a special place and it always will be. The actions of one individual will not prevail over beauty, kindness and community.
