Slow Metal Backing Track in A minor Hard Rock / Blues Backing Track - Guitar Backing Track / Uptempo jam track for Guitar in Am.
This is as per a request for a Ted Nugent style backing track. I wanted to add a little spin on things - applied my own style without taking away some of that 70's rock feel. My Marshall JVM made an appearance but the dominant guitar track is a Cornford Carrera with medium gain. Cornford in my opinion, is a totally underrated Amp manufacturer from the UK that ceased production last year (2013 on time of writing). I was totally gutted.
Yes, there's definitely 4 layers of hard panned guitars in this track! (Does that make me a bad person? :) ), and the bass its kept simple, but I applied some limiting and a touch of compression to really help those octaves ring out to give a really nice drive, like a 'wall' of bass you can lean back on at high volume!

Use A Minor. There's a small refrain that shifts to a G5. You can stay in A minor for this, although you can probably experiment shifting the key slightly.
