So after quite some time, getting lost in all the endless possibilities of different backing tracks, it occurred to me that one of my all time favourite blues tracks - Stevie Ray Vaughan's version of Texas Flood, I couldn't find anywhere - or should I say, a version I could jam to. Like the Hendrix tracks I worked on way back, I decided to drop the guitar and have this strictly drums and bass. The bassline took a lot of figuring out, and quite hard to perform on my bass (which I know that the action is set way too high.) This is the finished version - hope you enjoy!

This is in the style of Stevie Ray Vaughan's take on Texas Flood. This is in Standard Tuning, although I'm going to record a half-step down version somewhere down the road for those who are staying true to how SRV tuned his strats. This is just create to work on those slower licks, or even work on the solo to Texas Flood if you're learning it.
Bass was a Fender Jazzbass through an Ampeg SVT head.
