Select PCG Back Tees with Tournament Greens
What you see here is the very first customized permutation MGTT stroke-play tournament ever created! Custom condition tournaments have been created before, most notably SLICE Open 2024, though these rounds were on one course. This tournament uses holes from unexpected places. Each player would play in their own time, and upon request gain access to the code to generate the course, and they must play the course as is without prior knowledge, so this round is blind. I've delayed publishing this recording until all players finished their four rounds.
Each round fits a theme and increases in difficulty. This first round "Welcome Warmup" uses holes from the game that are generally agreed to be among the easiest, with mostly calmer conditions, though a few tricky ones emerge here already.
I was not at the top of my game at the time of recording and playing. I picked Petey expecting exploitable holes, of which several did emerge, though I was not able to take advantage of them. Somewhat disappointing start, but far from the worst, and a crazy ending made it worthwhile. Tune in soon for Round 2!
