Finally found some time at year's end to play a hidden game mode that has no leaderboard on SRC (or RetroAchievements, but do correct me if I'm wrong). That said, it does have a category of community achievements in the MGTT Netplay server.
To access the Hole-in-One Contest (essentially just Near-Pin but for the regulation courses), hold Z at the title screen and then continue and select the new Contests window.
This was my newest best four-hole total for Lakitu Valley from Back Tees after increasing attrition. A few of these pins suck. One "decent" hole and three good ones - not bad but no clear feedback for improvement. Getting a lot harder to optimize at this point without lucky streaks.
