Here’s the full, complete cut of all the walkthroughs from my lore-accurate Skyrim videos – in third person – feat. Windwalker Echo. This one covers all the major cities + some smaller towns, villages and POIs around Skyrim: Whiterun, Blackreach, Solitude, Markarth, Riften, Windhelm, Dawnstar, Forgotten Vale, Winterhold, Morthal, Falkreath, Riverwood, Ivarstead, Dragon Bridge and Rorikstead. Timestamps below.
These shots were all captured from past projects at 60fps using Unreal’s built-in take recorder with DOF turned off at the Cinematic quality preset. DLAA & TAA were used for anti-aliasing.

Part of an ongoing project to visualise a more realistic and lore-accurate scale to Tamriel – so here’s Riverwood – now with sixteen times the detail! Finally got around to Riverwood – just a bit more fleshed out as a village – and also trying to capture that slightly magical ‘first time walking into’ feeling at the start of the game...

Been a (another) hot minute, but if you’re new here, this was a type of (literal) test-bench scene I was doing back in the Early Access phase of Unreal Engine 5 a few years ago – mostly with the aim of testing out the different new features that UE5 had to offer and then later on, figuring out what had changed or which bugs had been fixed which each new version of the engine.
In particular, 5.6 introduced a new form of (experimental) ray traced translucency through the Lumen hardware ray tracing pipeline – which wow – really makes a big difference and makes very challenging scenes like this even possible without path tracing at all. Although it has to be said that it also seemed to cause some weirdness with Niagara systems, with collision and rendering, both with translucent and non-translucent mesh renderers…? Granted I was using cpu-based ray tracing collisions? Hopefully just a bug with how the pipeline works...
Rendered out in Unreal Engine 5.6.1 on an Nvidia RTX 3090 using Nanite for most meshes, Lumen for GI and reflections and a combination of Megascans, Blender modelled & textured assets, and third-party assets.

Just a quick snapshot of some of my favourite 3D art works that Ive done these past few of months. Rendered in realtime using the Unreal Engine 5 game engine. #shorts
Blender was used for some asset creation and simulations, Quixel megascans for some 3d assets and texturing. Marketplace contect for specialised assets. All final outputs done in UE5.
