In this video, Skidz, released in 1990 for the Atari ST by Gremlin Graphics
Take your skateboard or your BMX and become the hippest and smartest kid in town. The goal is to collect at least the 75% of litter and put in trash can. In order to have enough time to do our job and stay healthy and full of energy, we must also collect clocks, food and drinks scattered on the road, while avoiding obstacles like cats, dogs, holes and workmen.
Graphically awesome, with well animated detailed sprites, with smooth 8-directional scrolling and a nearly ok chiptune the game sports also a good playability, even if collisions are a little tricky. With 8 levels, a shop and the chance of racing against the computer, Skidz is a nice game to play.
