In this video, Nigel Mansell's World Championship, released in 1993 for the Atari ST by Gremlin Graphics.
5 years after the first game endorsed by F1 world champion's Nigel Mansell, Gremlin bought the license to make a sequel, taking advantage of the fact that, in the meantime (1992), Nigel Mansell had become F1 world champion. The game is a standard training, qualify and race sessions game with some customisation options, such as tyres and fuel management, to attract players who like simulation and to differ from the Lotus game's series.
The graphics are good, coloured, detailed but, more importantly for a racing game, they are fast, giving the game a wonderful sensation of speed. The audio is also good with a cool loading tune and nice sound fx. The difficulty is balanced and controls are customizable making the game enjoyable.
