This video builds upon the previous video where we imported a SketchUp model via Datasmith into Unreal Engine. Now that the model is in, we are adjusting the lightmass resolution of the model so that we can get a good light bake. Once we have a nice lightbake, we have the ability to walk around inside of a fully rendered 3d model, imported only minutes earlier straight from SketchUp with no adjustment. With the real time rendering capabilities of Unreal Engine, we no have the ability to take our SketchUp model and generate photo realistic still renderings, a realistic VR walkthrough using HTC Vive or Occulus Rift, or generate a photorealistic animation in just a matter of seconds. This technique enables you to easily take your basic SketchUp models to a different level.
