This video will show the basics of setting up a V-Ray Sun and Sky and how to use it in conjunction with a 3ds Max Physical Camera. It will also show how to adjust exposure with the camera to get your lighting all correct.
The Vray sun and sky can be instead of a Vray HDRI map. It will light and cast color in a similar way, but the color does not have as much variation because it is a clear sky. The colors of the sky can be changed, and give a similar effect to HDRI, by lowering or raising the sun to different angles.
