We had awesome fun on the livestream, and I ended up giving away this drawing of this handsome, rugged fella… Mr. Clint Eastwood.
We talked about the Loomis method, and how this can be adapted across a range of faces to capture the likeness but working with a geometric type of framework.
Now, I don’t often (ever) draw celebrities, but I’ve seen so much of it now, I thought if I were to do one, who would I pick? Maybe I've succumbed to a trend, maybe it’s peer pressure, but whatever! It was fun.
This was a little nostalgic for me. I grew up watching Spaghetti Westerns and “The Good The Bad and The Ugly” was one of my all time favorites
We’ll do it again on Tisch Academy next week. I may do another, but I asked for requests for who my members wanted to see me draw. The suggestions were interesting, random and some, obscure!
