I painted this portrait of Bec, the wife of a friend of mine, for a recent live session on our Academy. Far out, smooth complexion is not easy, whilst trying your best to be painterly. Still - I think I got reasonably close to a likeness. Perhaps this is worth going a bit bigger though…hmmm.
