a little vlog to carry us through to the upcoming travel series. it's so nice to edit again after a month's hiatus, how have you been and what were you up to in july?
i am currently spending the weekend visiting my sister + friends in new england. on my way home, i can bring bambi and prairie back with me and i'm SO excited to see them. my sister had such a good time living with them, she said she'll feel a major empty nest when they leave (so she's actively searching to rescue a kitty at the moment).
i'm taking things day by day, and making sure i don't cling onto my toxic expectations of myself that, in the past, has only cut me down instead of motivate or build me up. now that it's been over a year i'm out of school, i still am in the thick of feeling unsure how i want to manage my time/plan my life now that i don't have a school curriculum telling me where to be, what to do, and what not. i dont want STRESSING OUT to be a default, but for several years, it has been my reality and my norm. always a deadline, or assignment, or something i'm dreading or nervous about-- most of it was tethered towards school. now that i don't have school to lean on, my habits of stressing are hungry and searching for anything and everything to overthink about. i want to do things differently!
